Whilst visiting Edinburgh we walked through Leith and came across this wonderful garden with it's mural and layered flowers, trees and bushes.
It's painted in acrylic on a shallow canvas 60 x 60 cm, framed in a handpainted white washed floating frame. 
 
Edinburgh is a beautiful city and I wanted to capture this special find, away from the centre. This painting is leaning towards abstraction, with layered colour, shape and marks used playfully to explore the character of this area.
